On November 19, 2012, Poland grew to become the twentieth member of the European Area Company (ESA). The final 10 years have been a time of dynamic growth of the Polish house sector. These two photos present capital metropolis Warsaw as seen by ESA astronauts from the Worldwide Area Station, 10 years aside.
The photograph on the left was taken by André Kuipers in 2012 throughout his PromISSe mission, and the picture on the proper by Samantha Cristoforetti throughout her Minerva mission in September 2022. Samantha commented on her social media accounts: “Standing on the River Vistula, this Polish metropolis is straightforward to identify from house.”

With Poland becoming a member of ESA, the Polish flag was added to the ESA patch that astronauts usually take with them to the Worldwide Area Station. Within the ten years between these two photos, over 13 missions have flown with ESA astronauts to house, every contributing to science and analysis for the good thing about humankind.
